Electrician (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Install, connect and commission electrical systems on laboratory construction and installation projects.
• Connect sockets, lighting, cable ducts and electrical components in laboratory furniture.
• Work from electrical and installation drawings and implement electrical protective measures.
• Perform electrical measurements, functional testing and troubleshooting, and document test results.

Technical requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for energy and building technology, electrical installer or a comparable electrical qualification.
• Experience installing, connecting and commissioning electrical systems, ideally in laboratories or commercial buildings.
• Confidence reading circuit diagrams, installation plans and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of connecting sockets, lighting, cable ducts and electrical components in laboratory furniture.
• Knowledge of applicable VDE regulations and electrical protective measures.
• Experience with electrical measurements, functional testing, troubleshooting and documenting test results.
• Valid evidence of qualification or competence as a qualified electrician for work on low-voltage electrical installations up to 1,000 V.

• Sufficient German to understand work and safety instructions and coordinate on site.
• Willingness to travel on installation assignments throughout Germany, with overnight stays and potentially several weeks away.
• Category B driving licence.
